Corsican whisky P&M. P&M whisky is made jointly by Brasserie Pietra and Distillerie Mavela. Whisky is in fact distilled beer. Its production requires a brewery where the brewing and fermentation steps are carried out. The P&M wash is then distilled by MAVELA to transform it into pure alcohol. These distillations necessary for this transformation occur inside a Holstein still. P&M whisky is then matured in oak casks, softened with spring water and blended at Mavela. P&M Blend shows all the characteristics of a great traditional whisky.

The Distillery...

P&M : the first Corsica whisky.

From 2000 on, Armelle & Dominique start the process jointly: selecting the raw ingredients, developing the recipe, and validating the engineering and financial processes… They already know how to go about this. As early as 2001 the first brews of whisky are put into the production process. After aging for three years, the first bottles are put on the market in 2004. P&M the whisky that’s 100% Corsican: P for Pietra and M for Mavela.
