(70cl.)
Origin : Scotland
Exceptional whisky CHIVAS ROYAL SALUTE 62 GUN Salute.
Originally created by the Chivas Brothers to honor the coronation of
Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, a Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute tribute is hard
to come by and will only be presented to those who are highly regarded
in their fields. With each of the whiskeys painstakingly hand-selected
and stored for decades in the Royal Salute vault, Royal Salute 62 Gun
Salute remains the only permanent blend to include whiskies aged for a
minimum of 40 years.
Current master blender Colin Scott said: “It has been an honour to play a
role in the creation of Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute, as it represents
the ultimate tribute to royalty. It is a statuesque and luxurious
whisky, which could only be created by drawing on the many traditions of
whisky craftsmanship that I am proud to uphold and continue today.”
A limited edition ultra-premium blend from Pernod Ricard, topping their
Royal Salute range and named for the 62 gun salute fired for royal
anniversaries. The whiskies used to make the blend are aged for at least
40 years and it is packaged in an elegant blue decanter, painted and
inlaid with 24-carat gold, and comes in a blue case complete with a book
describing the creation of the blend.

“Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute was created to pay tribute to generations of
royal tradition and the legacy of the whisky’s four master blenders. It
is a unique and exclusive blend, the most prestigious expression within
Royal Salute’s permanent collection, owing to its exceptional age,
taste and limited supply,” said Pernod Ricard.
