Only available in limited quantities,this 18 years old Cardhu is an outstanding single malt whisky produced at Cardhu distillery, one of the oldest on Speyside, long acknowledged to be one of the finest producing regions in Scotland.

Cardhu 18 years whisky is a distillation of the natural elements that surround the distillery: pure soft water that springs from the Mannoch hills, selection of the finest malted barley... Cardhu is slowly distilled in swan-necked copper stills, watched over by craftsmen drop by drop. It is then matured for 18 years in carefully selected oak casks, producing a quietly assured single malt whisky that, rather like a flower, opens slowly with real finesse to reveal an exquisite structure. Sweet, smooth in body and rich in texture, Cardhu 18 years shows complex natural fruit aromas and is stylish, soft and sophisticated on the palate. Its delicate, fruity heart cradled by flavours of chocolate that build to a long, gently drying finish rich in cocoa.
